Like lots of people, I enjoy my showers. Gives me a good break and thinking time that I normally don't get through out the whole day.
But my shower does not work very well. It rushes out water, but inferiorly. And it has been this way for as long as I remember. It would take me couple of bucks to fix it, but I don't want to. And this is because I know that once I get it fixed, though the water coming out will be more, it will do no good. On the other hand, for same amount of time I spend in the shower, I will probably be spending sixty percent more water for my bath than what I do now. Thinking about this, I can only see wastage of potable water. And so, I never fix my shower.
This thing will look like a small concern for anyone reading this, but I feel similar actions will have a big impact on the world. It can be anything from closing the stove minutes before normal time to let your popcorn be made in residual heat or getting the habit of switching off unnecessary lights. The world needs watch and care from us, and it can come from even small actions that we take in our day to day life.
